Would you like to support biomedical research into ME/CFS?
The NMCB and the research projects linked to the NMCB are currently funded by ZonMw. However, by making a donation, you can help make future biomedical research possible.
To facilitate this, we work together with the AMC Research Foundation. The Foundation receives and manages all donations securely, and all contributions are exclusively used to support future biomedical research into ME/CFS, and where relevant, other post-acute infection syndromes (PAIS).
The AMC Research Foundation can also help set up dedicated fundraising pages if you would like to organise an event or initiative with friends, family, or colleagues to raise funds for ME/CFS research.
Below are a few ideas to get you started, but there are many more possibilities. The sky is the limit—your creativity and enthusiasm can make all the difference!

If you’re a keen runner, walker, or cyclist and are taking part in a sporting event, you could ask friends and family to sponsor your challenge and help raise funds for ME/CFS research.
We can help you create a dedicated fundraising page where people can make donations and where you can track your fundraising goal and progress.
You could also organise a charity sports day at your local sports club, where people come together to take part in activities while raising money for a good cause.
Celebrating a birthday? Instead of asking for presents, why not invite your friends and family to make a donation to support ME/CFS research? We can also create a dedicated donation page for your birthday fundraiser.
Or perhaps you’re creative and enjoy making jewelry, knitting sweaters, painting, or creating other artwork. You could sell your creations and donate part of the proceeds to ME/CFS research. We’d be delighted to help you set up a fundraising page and support your initiative.
